Brother and Sister, Bonding

Poster: SchmennaLeigh (see this users gallery) On our summer vacation in 2006, Nicholas and the Munchkin had some early morning bonding time on the couch as they were reading books together. I asked the Munchkin to give Nicholas a kiss and she touched his face in the softest, most gentle way and I caught the moment, forever. This picture remains a favorite of mine as it features both of my living children, bonding in the sunlight. To me, this photo shows "love" in adoption so very well. Openness has not confused either of my children. They regard each other with love, with sibling rivalry at times and with a spirit of fun. Watching them, together, is love.
